• Hairdryer method

Similar to the dry ice method, this method works on the interfusion between hot air and cold air, which accordingly causes the dented plastic cover to expand first and then compress, thereby popping out the dent.

While using the hairdryer to heat the dented surface, make sure to use it at its highest level.

 

• Boiling water pliability method

Most modern cars have plastic bumpers, which makes them more pliable or malleable to release the dents. Therefore if you have got a dent on your car’s bumper (front or back), you can take it out and apply boiling water to make it smooth and push out the dent from the plastic.

While performing this method, make sure that the body is soft before warming up and you can also try pushing the dent gently from under with your hands in case it does not pop out on its own. 

 

• Rubber knockdown dual side method

In some cases, dents make some areas of the car raised and others indented. Under such circumstances, you can use a long metal rod along with a rubber/wooden knockdown to reach both sides of the dent. With metal rod on the underside of the dent and knockdown on the top of the dent, you can apply force to pop the dent out and make it normal. This is one of the other methods to remove car dents

 

• Wooden dowels and screws pulling method

Contrary to the above methods, this one demands some engineering skills from the performer’s side and is a good method to ensure that you don’t spoil the paint job of your car.

After placing screws on the end of small wooden dowels, use the hot glue to mount the dowels onto the dent in evenly spaced areas. Once the glue has dried, start pulling on the dowels to straighten the dent. Using your own pulling force, this method can release the dent over several areas of the car.
